Hello everyone, I bought Under The Ocean today and found it to be very laggy, I don't have a very good system but saw a steam forum post about somebody with slightly worse specs than me that could run the game on crippled at about 20 fps. Is there any way to run this game in a lower resolution than 1280x720? I was hoping to have fun playing this since i love survival games and have played Under The Garden also, but sadly i can only run it at about 10-14 fps If needed, I can post my computer specs.

Well, if you could post those system specs, that might help...

Do your other games have issues with frame rate?

To be blunt man, those specs you shouldn't really be gambling on playing newer games. I have an old PC sitting around that has a 256mb GPU in it that I wouldn't even bother trying to run anything more intensive than Age of Empires.
To sum it up, that system is extremely, extremely outdated. I am not trying to talk down to you man, I only just recently upgraded my system after 4 years so I know it can be tough, but you aren't going to get far with most games released these days. Checking out indie games IS a step in the right direction, but only if you are talking about playing around with retro games and the like. A game like UTO, while it is an indie game, does have some pretty rich graphical content, and while it is in its alpha-beta stages it isn't going to be optimized to perfection, which means that even a top notch system isn't going to be running it to full its full potential.
In saying all that, try to obvious quick fixes like checking to make sure your drivers are up to date, and go into your power options, particularly if you are running a laptop. In power options make sure all settings are set to run for performance as oppose to quality. Best of luck man.
