Definitely needs a tutorial, I'm still fighting to understand 90% of the options. There is one problem needed to fix: Once in Steam menu, a lot of items don't "work" (like you can't access inventory items, etc)

Back with more issues.
Items seem to disappear without reason. My pickaxe disappeared and I had to restart the whole game.
Item oversize. Some other users mentioned it too, so I don't feel like needed to explain it.
I've accidentally lit up a plank and water DID NOT turn the fire out, eventually after trying I ended up setting my whole house on fire.
Storing items into the inventory is a bit difficult because you can't drag the item through a wall if the inventory place where you want to put your item is located at and if you try storing it by using the build menu or hitting "space" (I don't know the actual name of that menu thingy) you may lose your item INSIDE the wall if you don't place it correctly into your inventory.
Like I said, needs a tutorial. I do not know if cooking is even possible.
One more problem, which happened to me and not to my friend who also has the game is that it says that my character is hungry and thirsty, but when I feed him and give him water to drink, the hunger/thirst bar doesn't go up at all. I asked my friend if he has the same issue and it seems it's only with me.
ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS if you ask me: Since the game is close to Minecraft because of the surviving and crafting, it HAS NOT enough space for items. It seems a bit too crowded because it's 2D. I am NOT saying it has to become 3D and a "copy" of Minecraft, on the contrary. It should and MUST stay like that, but find a better way of storing and transporting items from different "scenes" or whatever are those places where the loading screen comes on. The game seems a bit claustrophobic because of all those items packed into a small place, so I suggest making chests or bigger inventory or I don't know actually. MAYBE using the same type of inventory as the older version, BUT making it bigger so you can scroll through it.
I would also LOVE to see some coop action in the future, even though I know myself how hard is to make the multiplayer thingy working on Unity, organizing the servers, etc. Just giving opinions WHAT would be really good for a game like this.

Here's my opinion: 1. I think that they need a clever way to implement a tutorial, without making it dull. Maybe scraps or paper and books you find that have ways to do various skills? 2. I still don't feel like this game is big enough for coop, but maybe that's just me. 3. I like the ability to just drag stuff into the inventory, but it does get a bit clustered. What about adding an ability to bring down the inventory to full screen, so you can keep your lesser importan items up offscreen while keeping your tools and such in the lower section for easy reach?

I actually agree and I sent a email to the team (with no response from both farmergnome and the team email), and my plan to them is proposed as worded from the email.
I figured they were probably busy and couldn't get to my email right away..But its been almost 9 days since I sent the email. Maybe I should have came straight here...What does everyone else think of this idea?

Hmm, well I don't think it's because they're ignoring you. No doubt they are just really busy (hopefully with the new patch ^^). I know that I've sent them a email, and they did respond to it, so just be patient.
